Maelstrom
On entering the Maelstrom, prepare to embark a whirlwind of activity. Reach the core before time runs out and the clock reaches zero!
Unlike any other event, this multi-activity programme allots complete control to the teams who must decide what to do and when to do it. With the clock against them, in order to succeed teams must strategise, negotiate every move and strike key allegiances.
What happens
Maelstrom is managed at "The Hub" where a giant vertical game board illustrates your team's progress to the central core. In completing tasks teams are awarded tokens which are needed to move through the board and closer to the core. Each team can select which activities they partake in to meet their strengths and gain them maximum points. As many tasks as possible are to be completed before the time runs out when no more points can be won!
